The Creative Assembly studio worked on this project, and the SEGA company dealt with publishing issues. Total War: SHOGUN 2 is a continuation of the first part of the in-game series dedicated to the internal wars in the Japanese islands, during the times of feudalism and the fragmentation of the state into various clans.
